In 2002, OPUS West € a three time runner-up, was not to be denied. OPUS narrowly defeated the Wessex Service Company to win the Brokers Cup raising over $20,000 in the process with Kitchell winning the Olympiad. The event raised over $125,000 in what many felt to be a bad economy.
